The former Grassroots Leadership Event has a new name: The AIA Leadership Summit. This rebrand provides an immediate understanding of the event's purpose and target audience – our leaders. 

Here's what you can expect from the AIA Leadership Summit 2023:

• February 14: Join other AIA members to learn about our industry's federal legislative issues. Attendees will receive briefing sessions from the AIA advocacy and relationships team, and coordinate Capitol Hill visits with other state attendees.

• February 15: Meet face-to-face with lawmakers before they weigh decisions that will impact architects and the built environment. In addition, we will offer chapter leadership sessions during the afternoon hours.

• February 16 & 17: Participate in sessions that will heighten your leadership skills through informative and creative workshops that move the industry forward and invigorate AIA chapter leaders.

All AIA Leadership Summit will occur at The Marriott Marquis in Washington, DC. Registration for the event will open in mid-December.
